Chhoto Bogi P.K Secondary School is one of the most famous schools in Barguna District. It is situated in a village named Chhoto Bogi under the Up-Zilla of Taltali-not very far from the Bay of Bengal.It was founded by Alhajj Ramzan Ali Sikder,a heroic son of this village on January 1st,1970 which was gained its 1st recognition under the authority of Education Board on the 24th Agust,1972.At that period there was no high School in this area. As a result,most of the people of this area were illiterate and neglegted.Establishing this School,he wanted to remove illitracy and tried to spread the light of education among the people of this locality. Md.Affaz Uddin Ahamed was the first Headmaster of this school. Though the School was established in-rustic area,it was developed swiftly. This school is very important for the poor students because it has a special feature from the others and is that No students have to pay their tuition fee according to the decision of the School Management Commeitte since 2009. They have to pay only session fee and Examination fee. The result of the public Examination is very satisfactory of this School and it is about to 100% each year. For this reason, it is regarded as one of the best Schools in Barguna District.
