Considering the poor socio-economc condition of the people of this area, Mr.Anowar Hossain Khan, Ex. General Manager, Biman Bangladesh AirLines and one of the organizers of Liberation War of Bangladesh established this Halta Dawatala WazedAli khan College in 1987.This college is free from politics and students are taught with outmost care.
