Dumuria Secondary School

WELCOME TO DUMURIA SECONDARY SCHOOL. Considering the education need of the locality, noble minded Manindra Nath Barai, Haridas Bairagi and Basanta Kumar Adikary took great affort for establishing a secondary school. These three noble persons started the noble job, in initial stage by donating adequate lands. Later some other donors, named Mr. Pangkaj Kumar Barai, Late Paran Bairagi and Mr. Budhimanta Roy donated more lands for the school. With the assistance of the local interested people, the main three land donors founded the Dumuria Secondary School in 1966. This School got the affiliation, first, on 01.01.1969 in junior level. For pleasing performance of academic activities, the school was approved the permission of opening Class IX from dated 01.01.1998 and in 1999 the permission of admitting students in high section was given for three years experimentally. Eventually this Dumuria School was granted the recognition as secondary School in dated 01.01.2001. From then facing a lot of ups and downs the school is now remarked as one of the best Schools in Agailjhara Upazila.
