Rajihar High School

History of Rajihar High school Rajihar Secondary School was set up in 1972 by some noted social figures educated persons and some land donors. The people of the community took shoulder of all assistance in cash and kind. The them British High commissioner to Bangladesh, Mr. Kolim Imray donated a large amount to make a large' L'shaped tin-shed school house in 1992 initiated by Mr. Franchise Halder, the them chairperson of the school Managing committee and the director of progati Manabic Unnan Sangstha. The school in housed in the south of a district board road passing a canal in the west. The school was founded by Mr. Monoranjan Tapader in Co-operation with professor Ramendra nath Aich. The founder Head teacher was Mr. Dependra Lal Bosh, Mr. Shahidul Islam is the chairman of the managing committee and Mr. Molla Shahjahan is the Head Teacher at present. It is four and a half kilometers, north-way, away of the upazila the result of the school in the S.S.C and Junior Examination is always good for last 10 years. The school stood first in the S.S.C result in Agailjhara upazila in 2010. Now it is a renowned school with better academic and co-curricular activities in the upazila
