In order to spread education in this locality a general meeting was held under the guidence of an elite person with the collaboration of some other elite persons interested have taken decision to establish a Junior School an accordingly with the utmost effort this school was established in 1968. Gradually it was turned into a High School named Mohongonj Secondary School. It is south facing with a large playground, arrangement of free coaching, free from political interfere, excellent co-curricular activities, strong security of students have made the difference from other schools.
