Babu Rasaranjan Ghosh a local Hindu landlord established a Junior high school near to the village Kakardah at Faridpur Jamdar Bari after the name of his father in 1923. After a few months this institution had been shifted from Jamadar Bari to Kakardha. Then it was named Ashwinee Kumar Memorial Institution. Among the muslim elite, late Golam Rahman Shikder (B.Sc), late Haji Abdul Kader Shikder and others contributed greatly to its establishment. Then the founder head teacher was late Babu Jitendranath Ghosh. On the 1st January, 1947 this school was upgraded into secondary level. Four students passed in the first matriculation examination. At present the results of the public examinations in are satisfactory. There are 19 teachers & 5 staffs working here. There exist the canters of J.S.C and S.S.C examinations. About 800 Students study here.
