The name of this school is Raghunathpur Sonar Bangla Secondary school. It established in 01/01/1972.This school name was kept from the name of village Raghunathpur and our national song,Sonar bangla.This name is Raghunathpur Sonar Bangla Secondary school.Befor our Independence, most of the people of this village were illiterate and they depended their life on agriculture. Some of social persons thought that they would remove illiteracy from this village.So they dicided that they could setup a school in the village. After it this school was setup by Md.Amjed Ali sikder and Md.Sekander Ali mridha.They were social able and honorable person in this village. This school is different from other school because the environment of this school is very suitable.
