Raghunathpur Deshanterkati United High School is situated at the last area of Bakergonj Upazilla. Mainly the historical background of school is that it was founded by Mr. Ashraf Ali Mridha on January 1, 1975, The first headmaster of this school was Mr. Nuru Mallik. At first the school was started by 25 students and directed by four teachers. The school was founded by the people of Raghunathpur and Deshanterkati. For this reason it is called the name of school is Raghunathpur Deshaterkati United Hig School. The first recognised this school was 01.01.19979
