WELCOME TO B.C.D. SECONDARY SCHOOL B.C.D. Secondary School is traditional and renowned Institution under the Barisal District of Hizla Upazila Sadar. In 1964 Mr. Abul Hashem Sikder, a Grduate (British Period, The then President of Barjalia Union Board)this School. The First Headmaster was then Mr. Ruhul-Amin. The School was named by Dr. Abdul Malek (Engineer). He named the school according the first letter of villages as Barjalia, Baherchor, Diya, Durgapur and Char Memania. The School recognition from 01 January 1966 as Junior level on 23/01/1967, Memo no-480 and achived recognition as SSC on 02/07/1968. The School plays a vital role to spread the light of education at Hizla constantly.
