Abdur Rashid Khan Secondary School established in 1966, at the village of Charaicha, the east side of the river Kirtonkhola near Barisal City, by the side of Bhola-Barisal highway. This village was very neglected year by year. Late Alhaz Abdur Rashid Khan, the honorable social worker and educational interested person, dreamed how to improve this village with educations and human develops . In his alive , his second son Alhaz Advocate M. Enayet Peer Khan founded this school name after of his father Abdur Rashid Khan. He donated 1.52 acore lands for the welfare of school. At the beginning this school started 1 to 10 class with Humanities, Science and Business studies groups including Agriculture studies and Computer subject. In 1986 M. Enayet Peer Khan established a separate Primary School name after of his mother Late Jumina Khatun in this campus. In 2002we opened Vocational curriculum course under the Bangladesh technical education board by the side of general education. This school have 6.94 acore lands, a latest computer lab, own website ( www.arkhanschool.edu.bd), multimedia class room, individual library, science lab, international sized play ground, maximum digitalized , water and sanitation and all modern facilities for listening and learning. This school has been working for human resource development in this area since 1966. We are committed for better results to the public examinations in future.
