Puranpara High School is situated in the three number ward of barisal city corporation. It was an ancient place before the enlistment in the barisal city corporation. But once this area was deprived of education. In order to enlighten the people of this locality some educated persons of this locality took establish a secondary level school. By there attempts this was set up in 1967. The land of this school is 0.84 acars. The land of the school was donated by three nobel persons of this locality. They were named by 1. Late. Sarub Ali Khan, 2. Late. Abul Hasem Munsi and 3. Late. Abdus Sobhan Khan. The school is different from others because it prevails calm and quit environment for the education of the students. The staff of this school are dedicated for teaching. We have a large play ground. Students feel quite secure here.
