A Karim Ideal College, located in Barisal is one of the most important higher educational institute in the southern region of Bangladesh. It was established by Alhaj Ebaydul Haque Chand in 1996. It offers HSC in Science, Humanities and Business studies. The college is affiliated with the Jessore Board dated 23.01.1997. The college building was built partly out of public donations. College has a campus area of 1.53 acres. There are 2 one storied building, 1 semi-pucca building and 1 students hostel with a sprawling green playground in the middle of the campus. The building comprising 11 (eleven) classroom, 1 (one) laboratory room, 1 (one) library room, 1 (one) hall room, 1 (one) teachers room, 2 (two) common room (boys/girls) and 2 (two) administrative room. Mission : 1. To impart sound and meaningful higher education to the students. 2. To expand the facility of higher education to all eligible students of the society. 3. To help them achieve successful professional career. 4. To promote and encourage the achievement and to work for advancement of the knowledge of different subject on the demand of society. 5.
