Patarhat R. C. College was established 1966. It was established by Babu Monoronjon Dey, the renowed businessman of Mehendigonj. The college has about 10 acres land property including Office building, Degree block, Intermediet block, Shoheed Minar, a large playground, four ponds, Teacher's dormitory, Hasan ali hostle,boys commonroom, girls commonroom, Principal's house And mosque etc. The Hasan Ali Hostel was build by late Mr. Abdul Lotif Howlader. It is the most renowed and oldest college of Barisal district. Many of our students stood place in the board and university exam in the previous time and obtain GPA 5.00 at present time. The teachers of this college are very much experienced and trained person. They take good care to their pupils. This college is fulfill by collection of natural beauty.
