Wellcome to Bhabanipur Hazi Ibrahim Secondary School. Standing near the coast of river 'Sandha' ten klms west from the upozila headquarter of Ujirpur under the district of Barisal the lamp which has been spreading the light of knowledge for the last 67 years is traditional Bhabanipur Hazi Ibrahim Secondary School situated at village Bhabanipur in Otra Union. The institute was founded on the 2nd January of 1947 by the name of late Mr Hazi Ibrahim an inhabitant Bhabanipur with the vital role of a respectable person-late Mr Kari Abdul Awal, spontaneous co-operation of the fans of education and mass people of this lacality and financial assistance of Hazi Ibrahim's children. It got sanction from the Calcutta University from the last 2nd January of 1947. Outside the thana headquarter the centre of SSC Examination was set up in this school at first in 1972. This institution has been playing a vital role in expanding education and indevloping the quality of educatoin in the lacality as well as in the country. Receiving education from this school many students are employed at different professions in government and non-government sectors in home and abroad. In the list of top school in last JSC Examination of 2011 this school has obtain 1st position in Ujirpur upozila, 5th position in Barisal district and 16th position in Barisal Board. Since then the percentage of passing in the JSC and SSC Exam is 100%.
