BHOLA POURA SECONDARY GIRLS' SCHOOL

As most of the girls’ of our country specially Bhola district are lag behind in education , the country is not progressing in right way. So former L.G.E.D Minister & Dhaka City Mayor Late Md. Naziur Rahman Monzur established this school in 1986 with the aim of proper teaching for the girls’ and they build up them selves as skilled citizen. Then the name of the school was Rawsan Arshad Girls’ School. It was a junior girls’ school and the founder Headmaster was Mr. Md. Habibullah Mia (MA). He started this journey with 06 Teachers, 30 Students and 03 other staffs .On 1st October 1991, Mr. Golam Mohammad (M.A, M. Ed) join as a Head teacher. After that he tried to rebuild this institution as a secondary school. According to the rules and obligation of ministry of Education in 1991 it was renamed Bhola Poura Secondary Girls’ school for the reason of financial deficiency to establish as a personal named school. In 1993 it became a secondary girls’school under Jessore Education Board and took part in S.S.C public exams. Now this school is under the Barisal Education Board,Barisal. In 1999 the School started vocational education course with two trades under Bangladesh Technical Education Board, Dhaka. From the very beginning the school involved with various co-curricular activities. Since 2009 the school connected with global program “Connecting Classrooms’’ under British council.
