The Founding of Manoswita Mohila MahaBiddalay. Established-2000. The Manoswita Mohila MohaBiddalay was established in 2000 by the hard labour and sacrifice of few educationalists.The word manoswita measns Great Intellectual Ability or High Mindness. The aim of founding the Mohabiddalay is to spread the light of education among the girls by the practice of knowledge and high Mindness. In 2000 after seeing new curiosity anong general people.So we encourased to establish Manoswita Mohila College. Kathalia upazzila is situated at the edge of Bishkjhali river in Jhalakathi district.There are about One lak forty two people live in this upazilla.This upazilla is a long way form Jhalakathi as facilities for women are poor students do not get standered education.There are 2 colleges in anmua port and kathalia.But there is no women's college for female education.Many guardians eager to study their daughters in womens college. But as they do not get much opportunity.They stop their education.In this situation we decided to establish a women's college. The most of college of our country are founded by many educationists to memorise them we dicied to stablished a colleg. we have named Manoswita by using some hardly used word. Its mening is Great Intellectual Ability.At first few educationalist youth came to me with a proposal of a women college. Encourased by them I fatima khanam founder of decided to establish a womens college.At first I applied chairman of Barisal Education Board for permission students admission.Then the college inspector Mr.Amzad Hossain visited the area and met the honorable persons. In that year we got admisson permission in the year of 2001-2002. I am remembering him with his all kinds help.On acre of land was needed to establish a college. At first I met with my brothers and told everything to them.They also cordially accepted my proposal.At first we built the college with bamboo, some ropes and collected the studets etc.After visiting every door to door. At present arts and commerce are in H.S.C level.Computer operation,Secratarial science are avaiable under technical board.B.A,B.S.S and B.B.S is now going to open. There are about 250 students here.There is a principal,15 lecturer 3rd and 4th class employes are number 8.Besides teacher recruitment proecss is under going.
