So some people of this area who were interested in female education wanted to establish a female institute. A.H.M. Masiur Rahman was one of them. He set up a school for girls and According to the name of this village it was named Barobakpur girls junior school in 1982. It was recognized in 1985. In 1994 it was recognized as a secondary school. Now it is one of the best school for girls in Rajapur Upazila under the district of Jhalakati. At present it is called on ideal girls school.
