In 1973 Md. Moslem Uddin Palhoan. Inspector of Barisal Red Crecent established a Red Crecent sewing Training Center of Uttar Bhitabaria, Bhandaria, Pirojpur to develop the economic condition of women of that locality. One year later in 1974 district red crecent charman and Sub-communication Minister Mr. Nurul Islam Mongur came to visit this institute and assembled in a public meeting. At the meeting honourabl Minister said that of 1st women should take general education before receiving technical education other wise success of technical education of women would not come. After the meeting the local important person decided to set up a junior girls school and all management duty of was given to Md. Modaser Hossain. By the by Md. Modaser Hossain invited to aristocrat persons of the locality and dicited the schools name that was, Uttar Bhitabaria Nurjahan Memorial High School according to the minister mothers name at present the junior girls school upgraded as a high school. The school activities run by the help of local managing committe. Non political environment teaching. Strictly followed the ruls of Education Board and NCTB. Regularly held subject wise tutorial test. Home visit system is going on full swing for the betternet of education.
