Wellcome to Mojida Begum Girls’ Secondary School. Mojida Begum Girls’ Secondary School is a renowned school at Bhandaria in Pirojpur district. It is situated in the suburbs of Bhandaria Bandor. For the contemporary period there was also a Govt Girls’ High School in Bhandaria. But most of the illiterate poor and meritorious students did not get chance to admit in that school because seats were limited. Thinking this, on 1st December 1995, a deputation of muslim and Hindu leaders of Bhandaria led by Mr. Muazzem Hossen Mia, Mr. Nurul Haque Jomader, Mr. Azahar Uddin Mia, Mr. Monirul Haque Jomader, Babu otul Chandra Biswas met the contemporary communication minister Mr. Anwar Hossain Manju to voice their demand for establishing a Non-government Girls’ School in Bhandaria. Whenever called a meeting to establish a girls’ school. At the patrons of learning attained the meeting. They also made speeches on the necessity of a girls’ High school. At last they decided to establish a girls’ secondary School, according to name of Late mother of Mr. Anwar Hossain Manju and the institution name will be “Mojida Begum Girls Secondary School”. The Founder of this school is Mr. Anwar Hossain Manju. On January 01, 1996 the new school started functioning with Nine teachers and 120 students. The first Acting Headmaster of this school was Mr. Sohorab Uddin Mia. Today there are 11 teacher’s an experienced Headmaster named Mr. Farukuzzaman (B.A Hon’s Economies, M.S.S, B.ED ), Non-teaching staff and more than three hundred students. The results of this school are praise-worthy both J.S.C and S.S.C. At present it is regarded as one of the best Girls’ School in Pirojpur district.
