Sagir Memorial Girls' Secondary School is situeted of Gulishakhali under Mathbaria upazila in the Dist of Pirojpur in 1985. Late Dr. Shamsul Alam established it by the help of some local interest person in 1985. Then Mrs. Chunnu donated 1.50 Acres of land which was essential for the school. The school was named afyer late Sawgatul Alam Sagir M.P.A of national Parliament of Bangladesh and the most famous orgaaniser of freedom fighter's of the southern region of Bangladesh. At the time of Liberation war he was incharge of Amlani camp in India. The institution is a hafbinger of female edution.
