Mahamudkati Ichhamuddin Secondary School

Mahamudkati Ichhamuddin Secondary School is one of the weleknown school in pirojpur district as well as Barisal division. The 1st January 1971 with only 5 students this school was established by eminent educationist Md. Saidur Rahman with the help of Abdul Halim, Abdul Hakim, Md. Lutfar Rahman, Md. Abdul Latif, Abdul Hamid and others. Md. Shamsul Arefin was the founder Headmaster. Jessore Education Board recognised this school as high school by the giving of permission of Humanities group in class nine in 1973. At first the school was in a tinshed house. Due to performance of result and co-curricular activities, a Computer Lab has been founded by BCC in 2010. At present this school is regarded as one of the best school of Nesarabad Upazila as well as Pirojpur District and also Barisal division.
