The Honorable And Prosperous Person Md.Chand Miah, Village: Sutiakati, Post: Kowrikhara, Upozilla: Nesarabad, Zilla: Pirojpur, Planned To set up a high school on his own land to spread the light of education among the poor and the helpless people. This is why, he discussed with the most charitable person, Al-Haj Abdul haque. Then with the help and advice of all elite person in sutiakati village, he set up "THE CHAND MIAH SECONDARY SCHOOL" in 1996 by his own name on 1.07 acre land. This institution was established and was recognized as a junior high school on 01.01.1996 and as a high school on 08.02.2002. At present, this school is being led by the well trained teachers and well management of the committee. There is one of the largest fields for the students under Pirojpur district as a co-curricular activities. The environment here is very charming. This institution has been holding 100% pass for a few years. The numbers of the students are 364. At present, there are Computer, Science, Business studies and Humanities group in this school. As a co-curricular activities, the Wallpaper writing, the debating competition, the literary club and other activities are arranged for developing the merit of the students. At present there are 12 teachers and 03 employees in this school. There is a large field, charming environment, high qualified teachers and good management in this school.
