In order to spread Girls’ education in this locality a general meeting was held under the guidence of Janab Md. Wahed Ali Gazi with the collaboration of some other elite persons interested in education named-Asraf Ali Mridha, Md. Mokhlesur Rahman Howlader, Mohiuddin Khan, Abdul Wahed Miaji, Babu Sukhendra Bikash Mukharjee,Nepal Vhattacharjee, Momin Mridha,Fazlul Karim, Master Nagen Chandra Gop,Nitai Ghosh,Sukumar Ghosh, Altaf Hossain Khan,Ranajit Kumar Ghosh,Md. Wajed Ali Khan,Yakub Ali Khan,Nitai Vhattacharjee, Kesto Kundu,Abual Hossain Sharif,Abul Kashem Mridha have taken decision to establish a Junior Girls’ School an accordingly with the utmost effort this school was established in 1984. Gradually it was turned into a High School named Bakharkathi B.I.T. Girls’ High School. It is south facing with a large playground, arrangement of free coaching, free from political interfere, excellent co-curricular activities, strong security of students have made the difference from other schools.
