Kadamtala, a very famous bazaar of over 100 years old, is situated at the confluence of the rivers, Kadamtala River and Muradia River. It is presently in Angaria Union of Dumki Upazilla, Patuakhali Zilla. Angaria Union has a population of about 20,000, but it had no college. So, it was felt that there should be a college in the union. So Kadamtala College was established in 2010 with a view to giving access to college level study for the under-privileged, less-privileged and women students who might have stopped their academic career in absence of this college. Presently we impart college education to more than 250 students only in Higher Secondary Level. We are committed to contribute towards improving the quality of education. We are also engaging students in extra-curricular activities to improve their personality, self-esteem and leadership quality. The founder of the college is Mr. K.M. Moazzem Husain who has a post-graduate degree(1974) from the Dhaka University and was a British Council Scholar to take degree(1988) from the University of Wales, Cardiff, U.K. He is at present a businessman of ocean transportation of cargo.
