The people of Borhanuddin Upozila are not very educated and rich.They have to face various natural calamities at times.Each year they become the victim of river Erosion since there was no women's college previously the poor people would not have any interest in educating their dughters. So,the politicians and people of this area
felt that a women's college is very essential.So,for the purpose of female education Borhanuddin Women's college was established on 30th March,1995 at the center place of Borhanuddin,Doulat khan and Tajumuddin Upazilla.The college
had recognition on 01/07/1996.Later,the
college got permission to open Degree
(Pass) course on 06/03/2000. The college
has been making good results of H,S,C and Degree Examination from its beginning.
