Before 1967 there was no school of secondary level within 4-5 KM distance. So the students are deprived of the education at that stage. A few boys students used to go to read in this level to go distance schools. As the communication was so bad that the girls students could not go. Thinking the situation khondoker Mahbubur Rahman B.A.B.Ed who came of a respectable muslim family realised to set up a secondary school to spread the light of education among the common people specially girls students. He inspired the people to help him establishing a secondary school. Some leading persons of the locality became donners to donate land and fund to build a school house. They selected the site of the school on the north west coener of a big tank called "dhapokati Dighi". Since then the school has been functioning regularly Mahabubur Rahman Khondoker became the founder headmaster of the school. in 1968 it got recognation as a junior high school and 1974 as a high school. From then the school has been spreading the light of education with credit in this locality.
