Historical Background of Nizamuddin Degree college, Nizamuddin Degree college is one of the most renowned college in Gournadi Upalzilla of District Barisal, Specially in north Barisal. This college is founded in 1972 under the board of intermediate and secondary Education Jessore. The founder of of this college is Nizamuddin Ahmmed, a great freedom fighther of Bangladesh liberasion war. It started it's journey on July 01, 1972 with a veryu few student's and seven lecturer . Then its was an Intermediate college with humanites and Commerce Group. Science Group was introduced in 1996. There was a wooden house belonging four room in this college new this college is promoted in Degree Level in 2012. It has one three storeyed Building, One two storeyed Building and two tenset Building. At persent there are more than Seven Hundred Student's and Twenty two Assitant professor and Lecturer in this college. The students do outstanding performance in public Exam. Percentage of pass in pulic Exam is also remarkable.In the Exam of H.S.C in 2012 this college secured 5th place in Barisal Board.There is an outstanding feaching staff in this college.
