The school is name Lengutia muslim higher secondary school. It was established in 1931 by the elits if the then society. It was established by Mr. Mujaffar Ali Howlader for spreading the light if education. Its establishment was inspired by the aspirations of modern education. It is established in the heart of 8-no chargopalpur U.p of mehendiganj upazilla.It is the best of all schools of this island separated from upazilla headquarter by river.It is raised to the level of higher secondary on june 18,2013 by The BISE, Barisal. Our school is the best of all the six secondary schools of island comprising three unions chargopalpur , jangalia and alimabad by virtue of j.s c & s.s.c results every year.
