Shahid Zia Adarsha Girls’ School and College is one of the best girls’ educational institutions in Bhola Municipality. The institute is located near D.C office. The school was established in 1978 as a junior high school with the help of educationalist Late Mostofa Talukder, ex-chairman of Bapta union. Late Sirajul Islam Master, Abdur Rab Vender, Sadhan Babu, Dr. Siddiqur Rahaman Mia and still alive Abdul Hoque Master with Mofazzal Chowdhury were also help to establish the institue. In 1983, the name of the institute changed as Shahid Zia Adarsha Girls’ School which was named as Adarsha School in the period of establishment. Parental guidence of Late Pier Jahan, first Headmistress of the School is still remembered. The School bears a glorious result in the S.S.C examination from the first batch in 1986 in the Municipality with nearly a cent percent of examinee passed every year. Not only S.S.C, they got GPA-5 in all public examinations. Principal Khaleda Khanam, with her intelligent School management skills, runs the institute well. The college section was introduced in 2005.
