JHALAKATHI POURASAVA ADARSHA HIGH SCHOOL

Jhalakathi Pourasava Adarsha High School was Established in 1972 with a view to spread education among the poor & distressed children who were badly affected by liberation war in 1971. The founder was Mr. Belayet Hossain the then chairman of Jhalakathi Municipality. The first headmaster was Kreshob Lal Roy. The school is situated in the heart of the town. Town Hall, Stadium, Police station, Press club, Pourasava are very close to the school. This institution gives priority to Inclusive education.
