BAIDARAPUR SECONDARY SCHOOL

Baidarapur,Jogeswar,Sultanpur,Rupasia,East Binnapara,Ostakhan,Gabkhan,Char Bhatarakanda,Charkati & Bhatarakanda villages are situated 7-10Km. distance from Jhalakati town.There was no communication except by boat.One had to go to Jhalakati crossing the rivers Gabkhan,Dhansiri & Sugandha. Boat sinking was common incident .It was very hard to study for the local students. So the poor & meritorius students were compelled to stop their education.With a view to spread education Mr.S.M.Humayun Kabir in collaboration with local youths,established Baidarapur Junior High School in a straw rooped house in 1968 (from Class 1 to 8). That very school had been recongnised Junior High School in 1970 and Secondry School in 1972.
