TIMIRKATI SECONDARY SCHOOL Timirkati Secondary School is stand under the district of Jhalakati at Nalcity Upazila which is played pioneer role to remove the darkness of Dopdopia Union that is stand a peculious place of timirkati, the west side of the Barisal to Patuakhali high way. It is acheived one of the greatest unique institutions of upazilla after it had built in 1963 with many difficulties. In 1962, Mr.Efaz uddin Sikder was elected as a first chairman of Dopdopia Union Parisad . During his period he felt very upset want of education process for boys and girls in his union.In 1963, Mr.M.A .Gani Khan was founded this institution. The month of January ,1963 as it fixed place to start this institutional activities properly. Mr.Rati Kanto Mallik was the first headmaster of this institution. In 1965, the first recognized was achieved after had built the board of Jessore in 1963 .We are very shocked that the founder of this institution Mr.M.A.Goni Khan died in 1980 Mr Abdur Rab Howlader was the first elected chairman of SMC in this institution. To remove unemployment of Dopdopia Union then SMC chairman Mr.Abdus Salam Akon Salim and members of SMC added Vocational section in this institution in 2001.
