GOHAILBARI J.M. HIGH SCHOOL

Gohail Bari Jobed Ali Memorial Secondary School which is renowned education institution in the district of Jhalakathi. Forwer ADPI Mr. Maksud Ali was the Chief Founder of this school. Among others Hadjee Mazid Master, Siddiqur Rahman and Mazid Bhuyan were with chief founder. The school is stablised in 1968.A poor farmer named Abdul Hakim was the main doner who sacrificed his all land propeties on account of school. From the beginning period there were a large number of students in this school. Day by day students and results are improving. Now there are near about five thousand students and sixteen staff in this school. There are four pucca buildings and two semi pucca buildings. National days and indoor days are properly done here. Our school is one of the best sports and cultural institution in the upazilla level. Natural beautiful environment helps us to build up mentally and physically. There is a string managing committee. We are proud of this school.
