During the reign of the British there having no English education. The then muslim of this country were deprived of English learning . For this reason, the muslim of this country thought that without learning English no development activities is possible and there was no alternative way to drive the English away from this country. At the 1st priod of 19th century , though there were a few educational institutions in rural Zone . In 1928 there was no educational institution except Rajapur or Bhandaria sader. That is why, thinking the lack of educational institution . Mr. Mojibul Haque chunna Mia and Mr. Zahir uddien Mia built the school with gool pata on the land of Mr.Rased Mia beside the south edge of pona river. Mr. Manmatho Babu along with a teacher, started the school with collecting students. After that Mr. Ismail Hossen and Rased Mia gave necessary advice and a piece of land. Mr. Mazed Mia gave necessary furniture to decorate the school. Due to sacrifice their land, money and labour, the villagers saw the light of education from darkness. Some years later, the standered of education of the school was being higher and higher in Bakergong district and was regarded as the best M.E. School. At the year of 1943-44, this M. E. School was promoted to up-grade school and 1950-51. The School authority tried to make the school into secondry level but failed to do that. So, it was remain as a junior high school. On 60 decade, it was recognized as one of the best school in Khulna division. In1961, the then D.D.P.I. of Barisal, Mr. Abdul Hamid visited the school, seeing the standered of education and surrounding invironment he was highly satisfied and gave a report of the school. “This is the best junior high school in this division I have ever visited, Mr. A. Hamid”. In 1965, the secretary of the managing committee of this school, Mr. Zalal Uddin Ahamed and the headmaster Mr. Abutaleb Mia showed the best credit, afterward it was inlisted in development project. In 1945- 1951, and 1958, the authority of this school tried heart and soul to make the school secondary level but their all efforts were ended in smoke. After that, In 1988, the present headmaster, Mohammad Noor Faraji and Md. Azizul Haq tried hard to make it secondary level. At last their dream came true. Currently, the present chairman of managing committee, Mr. Rafiqul Islam is trying heart and soul to promote the school.
