This institution was established in 1907 as Malikhali Minor English School whose founder was Umacharan Biswas. He first contributed land and financial help. .Shree Shree Guruchand Tagore contributed a lot sending a higher educated person Keshablal Samajpati for establishing a school to educate the illiterate mass of this zone. That enlightened person was the founding Headmaster. This institution was promoted to Higher English School in 1921. Instead of conventional education the Government has introduced multilateral education in 1961.
