PARERHAT R. L. SECONDARY SCHOOL AND COLLEGE

Parerhat R. L. Secondary School and College is one of the oldest schools of the southern part of Bangladesh. In 06 January 1921 a renowned land lord of this area named Surja Prasanna Bujjpayee having the nick name Lala Babu established this institution after his mother's name, Rajlauxmi Dibbah. In 2010 it got the preliminary permission to admit in the eleven class session 2010-2011 in all groups by the help of our local MP and present committee. So this is now a collegiate school. There is a saying that Surja Prasanna Bujjpayee had a close connection with Mr. Atal Behari Bujjpayee, the former Prime Minister of India. It is still playing a dominant role in the field of education.
