Sutiakati Pilot Secondary Girls’ School is one of the best schools in the district of Pirojpur and is the first girls’ school in Nesarabad upazilla. This school was established in 1927 by some local elites. Their objective was to spread female education. They thought that no progress is possible keeping them letterless. The school was at junior stage from 1927 to 1965 and was recognized as secondary level in 1966. At present, six hundred students study in this reputed school and this school consists of class six to ten. It is a non- government institution . The school is trying its level best to spread standard femal education since its establishment . The results of the s s c and j s c examination are satisfactory every year. At present this institution is considered as the best girls’ school in pirojpur district. Vocational section has been added as per direction of the government and two trades for class ix and x in vocational section have been included since 2002. This institution has been declared as the best school at the level of upzilla, zilla and division by the government in 2004 and also got certificate from the concerned authority.
