Balihari Secondary School

Balihari Secondary School is one of the reputed schools of Nesarabad upzila in the district of pirojpur. In 1950 it was founded as a Junior High School in the yard of Late Adel Uddin Bepary by some persons interested in education and the then big guns of the society named Haji Md. Tofazzel Hossain, Md. Mozahar Uddin, Md. Surat Halder and the founder Headmaster Md. Raje Ali. In 1965 with the shifting on its own premises it was converted to High School. Eminent Political figure Alhaj Md. Shahidullah Mia having the assistance of Abdul Mannan Akon, Abdul Aziz Akon, Md.Zulfikar Ali, Md. Yusuf Ali, Md. Hashem Ali, Abdul Haq Mia and Alhaj Abdur Rahman installed it purchasing land. It got recognition in 1967. Belonging to that time S.D.O of Pirojpur Mr. Shakil Ahmed played a vital role in this regard and sanctioned a lump grant of 8000/-for filling up the present installation with mud. The role of the then chairman of the school Alhaj Md. Shahidullah Mia and the founder Headmaster late S.M. Nur Uddin in establishing it as a recognized school is to be mentioned. Currently as the best school of Pirojpur it is known to all.
