The History of Kuralia Girls Secondary School. Education is the golden key to open the gateway of all success happiness and prosperity of the human society. So, the Kuralia Girls Secondary School, Wazirpur, Barisal was established with a view to educating the illiterate poor women of the neglected rural area. The learned, renowned education interested noble man Al-Hajj Mowlana M A Latif of the village Munsirtalluk founded this school in 01/01/1995 with the help of some local reverend persons—Babu Horendra Nath Bala, Babu Satish Ch Barai, Babu Monindra Nath Bala, Bishweshwar Bala, Late Anil Ch Bala, Paresh Ch Bala, Late Ranjit Kumar Bala and Rabindra Nath Bala who donated their land property for the school and many other elite persons of Kuralia, Munshirtalluk, Karfa kowarekha, Moshang and so on. The then founder Headmaster was Md Altafur Rahman Mia. Then the institution achieved the 1st recognition on 01/01/1996 and awarded 1st MPO on 01/02/1998 as the Junior Secondary School and since then the SSC candidates appeared at the public Exam with the special permission of Jessore Board. At present, the result of JSC- 100% and SSC- 98%. The School is regarded as one of the best schools at Wazirpur Upazilla in Barisal BISE. To the local unlettered neglected general mass, it stands as the illuminating candle and flourishing light of Women Education in the poorest Beel Area of Bangladesh.
