Bhandaria Govt. College was established by some enthusiastic people who were devoted to education. Babu Rajendro Kumar Shil was the pioneer among them. Science, Business Studies and Humanities are taught in Intermediate level. Humanities and Business Studies are taught in Degree level. The College was nationalized in 1st July 1985. The College is running smoothly with 33 teachers who teaches thirteen subjects. The students whose total number is 740 cut very satisfactory figure in Intermediate and Degree level.
