There was no educational institution in the village of Ikri. Under Bhandaria P.s of Pirojpur District before 1971. So Md. Abul Hasem, Wished to establish an institution. This is why. He with the help of others, established this institution in 1971. He named the institution Shingkhali High School & College. according to the name of the village. This institution has immortalised his name.
